Hello friends,

So I let my sub drop this week... hey where are you guys going?

This isn't a I hate ff14 or I'm disappointed with the game, nothing could be further from the truth I love ff14 and I have thoroughly loved the ride and would give anyone who was thinking about playing this game a glowing 5 star recommendation, but... It isn't so much because of the game, which I have somewhat mixed feelings about. It isn't that the game is bad, it just, wasn't what I hoped for... and the direction makes me think it will ultimately never be what I hoped for.

It's primarily because of the fantastic community and the wonderful dev team who always tries to do more, and it really shows, mostly in the area of fan interactions, it feels like this community is very close and it's something that I truly enjoy the most about ff14. Such a fantastic state the game has reached and it's because of the wonderful attention and tremendous work that both the dev team and the player base has put in.

So my main purpose for making this thread is to mostly just say thank you, to everyone on goblin for a fantastic time and to a lot of my friends who left goblin, whether it be the mass exodus or slowly over time. To the ff14 community as a whole for making this game worth the time investment.

Whether or not I return, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game and would give it a glowing recommendation to anyone who is considering playing. Hopefully I will find the motivation to come back myself but whether or not I do, take care of yourself adventurers

Same. I love the game and yet don't wish to log in and actually play it most of the time lately lol. I'll leave it at that.

Also, props to keeping it positive. In my experience you'll be back after a few weeks break. If not - happy gaming! It's all gaming, so keep it fun! ^^

I've taken a few breaks before usually just lasting a week or so, the longest being a 3 week break, I've been at it since the relaunch so I've clocked in quiet a few hours to this point. this time though, I don't feel I have much to return to but here's to hoping that's just a feeling and I do in fact return.
