Two terms for a similar concept.

you can't say it better, prevention?, mitigation? Both tools with one obejctive protec us, when prevent is use to evade all damage mitigation is used to reduce damage you can't mitigate under zero and you can't mitigate something thats not hurt you, whe are fight in agresive to prevent healers run out of mana (sometingh hard in this game) skip mechanics and make a long encounter more shorter, when you win all damage incoming if the fight was more longer is prevented, not mitigate because you don't get any damage, you win thats the end, but in middle of the fight you can't prevent most of the damage and with all our skills reduced it, in other word mitigate.
Whe create a lot of words to speak precisly and this 2 share the same goal but works diferent.

so the hole giving up hp to do damage, Isn't that the same thing as dropping grit and getting the ability to use blood weapon? and having a high cost on grit make it a risk when you blow through mp and then you cant activate it?
