There's only two parts of the third Anima step; the 16 crafted items and the 80 unidentifiable items. The crafted part really is the easiest here, unless you're saying gathering 80 items is easier than that.
I'm not sure why there's confusion as to what I said.
The crafting step is dependent on a number of factors - the gathering classes you've leveled, the crafting classes you've leveled, who you know that has done either of those, and if you're unfortunate enough to not know any one personally or not have the jobs leveled on your own, it can be dependent on your server's economy, meaning purchasing the items or materials, or getting them crafted, can vary in price.
So ultimately, it's the step that can by far be the easiest, or for some the hardest.
My point was that someone calling it easy, when they have every crafter and gatherer leveled to 60, is likely basing it solely on their experience with it - and of course they're going to find it easy (and for putting in the effort to level those jobs, they've earned it) - and ultimately projecting their own experience on to their expectation of the experience others will have with that step.
You find it to be the easiest step. So does Nyalia. Both of you have every gatherer and crafter to 60. Your perception of how difficult the crafting step is will be different than my experience.
The 80 tokens doesn't factor in at all regarding my comment.

I just don't see the comparison between farming 80 grind tokens that take weeks and weeks of hard grinding vs 16 crafted items that require common materials and are not difficult synths. I'm not talking about doing the synths yourself or even gathering the mats from scratch. I'm talking about buying the mats on the MB and having a friend craft them, or just buying the end products on the MB.
Heck, the grind for the 80 tokens is so substantial (to me) that I could easily level a crafter from 0 to 60 in substantially less time than it would take to obtain 10 of those items... Several hundred beast tribe quests or hundreds of runs to Alexander or hunt grinding for days on end... I'm not saying the grind is too much, I'm just saying that it's a lot more than just a couple easy crafts with cheap materials.\
I'm not saying "leveling crafters is trivial, everyone should be able to do it in seconds!" but I am saying that if you consider the grind for the anima items to not be that bad, I can't see how you can call the leve grind for powerleveling crafters prohibitively difficult. It takes substantially less time.
