The requirements for these weapons have been ridiculous from the start, still are ridiculous, and it's why I'm not doing them. With the limited lifespan gear in general has in this game, they cannot afford to make stuff that's too much of a pain in the ass to get compared to alternatives. The fact that relics evolve as patches go on is meaningless when 1) the starting steps are enough to intimidate most people away and 2) alternatives are still easier to get anyway

To anyone who thinks these are in any way sane, please look at the starting steps for the 2.x relics and compare.

The longest it'll take most casual players is a week and some change if they do the weekly twice and do any roulette that give Eso tomes every day.

I think the definition of "casual" eludes some people...

The Devs most of all, Casual to me is someone who only has a few hours to spend a day, cant really do serious raid content due to time and commitments and only really does their dailies and lvs a few alts maybe...not a hardcore raider or hard core crafting surely.
