Crafting Gear Asthetics

First off I would like to say that I really like the look of some of the gear that's in the game. With that said, I'd like to ask why you force some of the DoH classes to look rediculous.

As a 50 CRP, trying to max my Vitality, I am forced into wearing a felt gown (which is ok I guess, but why would a carpenter want to wear a) a gown b) a felt gown), and these spandex looking pants with frilly poofs on the side (chausses). My favorite part of MMOs is making my character look cool. I'm seriously getting the impression that the equipment was all made for miqote, then scaled for other races. And I'm also getting the impression that the equipment was made with class/stats tied to these pieces of equipment merely just in hindsight.

Smith equipment looks appropriate for its classes (smithy's gloves, dodore doublet, vintage thighboots), so what the heck happened to carpentry? I know there is class specific equipment coming out for DoW and DoM, are there any plans to implement such for DoH and DoL? Also, why won't you guys ever give us boots that match, my Botanist is wearing all red raptorskin equipment, minus the brown boots that I was forced into wearing for the appropriate stats...

It's been so long ever since Dodore Doublet came out and made everyone a clone.

And then patch 1.19 made everyone a hot mess. Actually, just a mess.

It's sad because I'd rather be parading around in Jesus robes than what I'm wearing now. Crafters out there if you feel the same way, please 'Like' the OP or give us your feedback!

Yes, a thousand times yes. For most of my lower levels on BSM (and ARM for that matter) i was wearing a bright ass yellow vest and friggin tights that had my elezen bulge just blaring to the world. It got so bad i'm now on a lalaphile watch list for crafting too close to a school.

Carp is always the class get ignored... such as the leve.
Blacksmith can get like 3 40+ leves at Ul'dah while carp get none always.
Even at Grid sometimes I only get 1 40+ leve offered.
I think it's due to they removed some recipe such as peak planks and leve get removed too. Since everyone forgot there is carp existed so it just remind empty there...

Don't you even complain as an Alchemist, at least you can wear crafting gear. I'm a bloody leatherworker. The crafting class SE forgot was a crafter, left off of all the crafting gear, and put optimal to all the melee gear.
