    TIV Crafting Materia sources?

    I'm REALLY struggling to hit 3* stats, even with food, i'm looking at having to over meld with control 4 materia, which on Odin is 400k - 500k a pop and for a low chance RNG, I'm not wasting that amount of Gil (I'm not made of money).

    So what are we left with for ways to get hold of crafting materia that's not going to break the bank or take a month to get hold of?

    Spiritbond Ramie Sets. If you can HQ your own and a potion it takes about 2 stacks quick synthesizing to SB. I've got about 20+ Control 4's from 10-12 sets.

    Another potential source, albeit overly-abundant with RNG, is doing the Amal'jaa, Sylph, Kobold, and Sahagin Daily Beast Tribe tasks. The top level tasks from those four beast tribes give t4 combat Materia, which you can then have Mutatrix smash together hoping for crafting Materia.

    Looking at your gear (goldsmith), you have a full set of crafted/scrip gear so what are your stats? Feels like you should have reached it by now. Potentially try going the Beet Soup route?

    EDIT: Forgot there was a stats tab on the loadstone XD

    Just over meld some TIER 3 Comp materia and pop Seafood stew? Simples.

    It feels like a waste to have gone to the trouble of getting mats and Fc mates to craft the hq stuff only to not try and meld it as high as possible. I'm not a hardcore player and it's taken me a while to get to this stage.
    I want to try and make myself as futureproof as possible.

    These suggestions are still ace though. A lot of food for thought.
