Questions about weaving (new to crafting)

I saw on the auction house earlier today a set of cloth that looked like pajamas and was wondering if these were crafted or from something else? The wiki has an odd layout to me (probably because I'm used to wowhead's setup) and could find any real info.

The set in question is the crescent moon nightgown/slippers and nightcap.

Also how do you learn new items? Is it automatic or is there a trainer I'm not seeing in the guild hall?

I'm new to crafting too (Lvl 12 weaver) but so far the new items just showed up in my crafting log when I leveled.

The crescent moon items are level 50, 2-star weaver crafts. iirc you need the weaver demimateria book to unlock them. You can get that in Mor Dhona.

For the most part, you'll get most of the crafting recipes automatically when you level up, but some, like advanced level 50 and 60 crafts, need to be unlocked with mastercraft books.

Thanks for the help. I guess I have a long way to go then. Nothing some good music/skype with friends wont help with.
