Another housing letter to the dev's

Dearest devlopers of the world I love so much,

Since you will will not allow me to post the...9000 word letter I had so carefully written up allow me to summarize.

Not enough housing. Maybe we can fix things.

These are just my suggestions:

Expand mog station to allow for more items for real money purchase for housing decorations. These cannot be crafter created items. This creates more money for server space.

Allow players to submit housing decoration ideas. We love that stuff...seriously.

Please consider the ruins of Sharlayan as a "repopulation" consideration for new housing.

Please let me control, as an FC leader, if I can buy more than one private room. Please let me have a tenant in my private room.

Space was actually addressed in my original letter that was to long to post.

Sqeenix has suggested that the lack of housing is due to lack of server space as housing is a space hog. They've likely capped us to ensure the housing instances do not get over loaded with to much deco data.

This is why I feel like expanding mog station to include more deco purchased for money to help raise enough extra budget for more server space is so important. You can't ask for something from nothing and the reality is none of us really know whats on Sqeenix's plate in terms of budgetting.

Well before I played ffxiv I played star trek online and neverwinter, we could make our own houses with no limit provided we had many gatherers or payed,

I love buying my dyes from mogstation cause many people fail to see what budget many of this great games devs get.. sadly people only see we need to buy game + pay for small sub failing to see.. how little the devs make..

So for all old dyes i mostly still buy mogstation rather than mb. I dont mind paying whatever really just pleaze devs make us nice things to buy

I can't speak to the other games you played but I can imagine that either those games purchased instances for game housing servers specifically OR the player base might not have been as large. The over all player based might play a huge part on server space premiums.

I'm told for FF that everything is hosted server side; more so than other MMO's even. Almost none of the game data is hosted locally or so that's my understanding.

I agree with you that the expansion of mogstation would help us in this fight for better housing structures! Make us things..I will also buy!
