PSO2 Colab Event

I would have a nostalgia-gasm if they introduced some of the classic and iconic weapons from Phantasy Star Online in the game.

They might troll us with a Club of Laconium though.

As much as I would kill for either of those fights, along with their respective first phases before they get serious... I doubt we'll get something that epic.

Maybe we'll get a quest where we hunt down a lost MAG instead, it could be a new minion

Long as we get some kind of glamour I guess I'll be fine with the event. They have quite a few choices in weapons that we could take. Even a Card based weapon for mages as well so good for AST. Personally not a fan of minions but eh...

Even though it would never happen as they wouldn't put this much time into a limited event like Sega does with PSO2's content, an actually difficult 8-person trial in the vein of a Primal fight against Dark Falz, Olga Flow, or Saint-Milion/Kondrieu/Shambertin would be fantastic. Episode 1 and 2 version of Falz in particular would be an interesting fight with the second half taking place on that ring-like arena, I could see that working with FFXIV's combat system very well.

If we were to get something out of PSO2 stylistically the second round of extreme quests of weapon series might just fit - they are under Weapon Exchange here, the second series, black with yellow/red and what not.

Correct. Pffft Sega. I used to love them and sang their praises but I haven't much nice to say about them anymore.

I'm with you there.

Honestly, anyone who has long played PSO and even PSU long suspected they wouldn't bring the game over here. Sega of Japan has historically never really liked us in terms of content and game material.
