So being consistent is terrible, and offering 48 hours notice on the webpage wasn't enough? Amazing.

No matter when they schedule it, it will be an inconvenient time for SOMEONE. It's impossible to choose a time that works for 100% of players 100% of the time. The best they can do is be consistent, which they are. It's always at the end of the weekly cycle, when people have had the entire week to play the game. It makes sense for a patch to be implemented at the same time as the weekly reset, so no it really isn't a terrible time.
You know that scene where Lightning punched Snow in the face?
Its already half ready!
When you're out of town for a week, with no internet, from tuesday to sunday, and a trip home on early monday, there was little to no time, so yes I have a reason to complain. Tonight was all I had, and I never once stated that the world revolves around myself. Leave me alone.
Monday is all I had. Quit missing the details. I told you I had no time other than today, so the rest of you can just shush. So being consistent is terrible, and offering 48 hours notice on the webpage wasn't enough? Amazing.

Nobody cares about your time issues
You cant just be handed tomes because you didnt have the time to do them.
You have to put in the work to get them. Planning to do it extremely last second is not a good idea in the first place, especially since it it when they have the maintenances
Also you didnt say the world revolves around you but clearly you think it does
The only possible explanation is that SE is out to piss you off this week. I bet they knew you were going to be out of town and scheduled this particular maintenance a whole 3 hours earlier than normal just to prevent you from capping your lore tomes! Man, I just can't believe how evil and petty they are sometimes!
That's just life. It happens. SE isn't expected to compensate everyone who is simply unable to play due to real life circumstances. You're asking for special treatment - a reward when you did nothing to earn it. That is why people are saying you act like the world revolves around you. You seem to think that paying the $15 entitles you to your weekly currency...it doesn't. Your subscription gives you access to the game...how and what you do with yourself after that is completely your own responsibility. I understand that you are upset about missing out on a week, but it's unreasonable to blame SE when it had nothing to do with the game and everything to do with your real-life situation.
