    I had no way of knowing, I was out of town. Doesn't matter if its always that way. Its a terrible time to schedule it.

    No matter when they schedule it, it will be an inconvenient time for SOMEONE. It's impossible to choose a time that works for 100% of players 100% of the time. The best they can do is be consistent, which they are. It's always at the end of the weekly cycle, when people have had the entire week to play the game. It makes sense for a patch to be implemented at the same time as the weekly reset, so no it really isn't a terrible time.
