Maintenence Before Reset? Really?!

I was busy at a convention all week, and had no time to get my lore. I was prepared to do it from about 6pm to 10pm but apparently there is scheduled maintenance before reset. Not only is this irresponsible, and a slap in the face to paying customers, but now Im behind. Please send me my needed lore tomes, or I'll be considering leaving. This is unacceptable when Im paying 15$ a month.

You realize patch 3.25 is coming in tomorrow right? Those types almost always start on reset days, and thus the maint to bring them in being the night before/morning off. SE also doesn't control what you do in real life.

Maintenance is almost always right before the weekly reset. This is nothing new. In fact, you should have expected if there were maintenance for a new patch that it would be at the exact time that it is scheduled. SE keeps things pretty consistent, they aren't going to coordinate maintenance based on whether or not someone might have been busy all week and didn't get a chance to play.

Your complaint is like those people who wait to go Christmas shopping until Christmas Eve and then get mad when the store closes early and they couldn't get what they wanted.

So being consistent is terrible, and offering 48 hours notice on the webpage wasn't enough? Amazing.

No matter when they schedule it, it will be an inconvenient time for SOMEONE. It's impossible to choose a time that works for 100% of players 100% of the time. The best they can do is be consistent, which they are. It's always at the end of the weekly cycle, when people have had the entire week to play the game. It makes sense for a patch to be implemented at the same time as the weekly reset, so no it really isn't a terrible time.

Not sure what game you have been playing but ever since beta all scheduled maintenance had always been the night of reset
