    That could be interesting, but I feel like I'd rather see them have more direct interaction with abilities, maybe add a few proc effects to keep things more interesting. Some of these are a little crazy, but it's give you an idea of the sort of traits I'd like to see as, if we are given traits, I'd like to see them be some sweeping changes that alter the playstyle or cause some really noticeable effects.

    Paladin-
    Enhanced Bulwark: During Bulwark, all shield blocks reset shield swipe. Shield Swipe does 50% more damage and ignores the damage penalty of Shield Oath.

    Warrior-
    Improved Stances: Damage penalty of Defiance reduced to 20%. Stances give the full bonus of having V Wrath/Abandon stacks at all times when active.

    Summoner-
    Enhanced Bane: Bane now refreshes all DoT's on each target hit

    Dark Knight-
    Enhanced Dark Passenger: After using Dark Passenger, next Dark Arts costs no MP.

    White Mage-
    Enhanced Cure: Cure I, II, III now have a 50% chance to reduce the remaining cooldown of Divine Seal and Presence of Mind by 10 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 10 seconds.

    Black Mage-
    Enhanced spells: All damage dealing Black Mage spells have a 50% chance to reset the cooldown on Enochian. Cannot occur more than once every 30 seconds.

    Again these might be over the top and might make a class seem OP based on current content, but if they design future content around us receiving these powerful traits, they could still be balanced in general. Not to mention, I personally think adding traits like these are way more interesting than having a bit more damage or a slightly reduced cooldown on an ability.
