OP is right, many people are just band wagoning instant reading crap without actually thinking about level grinds. The 2x event is an excellent idea and as many of you already said, the game is designed to throw level 60 at you fast right? Well it's easy to learn the basics of a class and grinding to 60 just to obtain 5 new skills won't make a ground breaking change in a player's gameplay. The sooner you give them 60, the sooner they can learn how all the mechanics tie in at once. However, the grind is serious pain in the ass. I don't want to do The Vault or The Aerys 100+ times as a DPS/Healer/Tank. I already know it's going to be -> drag 3 monsters -> kill them/heal/hold hate -> boss -> repeat and rinse.

Also, the more people are level 60, the more we can have faster queues because of diversified classes spread out across the board.
