    Gathering node unlock at end of dungeon/24 man raid?

    How would you feel if a gathering node unlocked in a dungeon (from low level to current) and 24-man raids that any individual can see but only use if their level is relevant to it?

    E.G Satasha normal = Level 15 gathering for it.
    E.G Syrcus Tower= Level 50 gathering for it.

    It would only unlock after the entire dungeon is cleared and the exit teleport is available.

    The gathered items can be used for specialist recipes or glamour exchanges.

    Temporary invigoration for low level dungeons and raids, randoms thoughts.

    Well, they'd have to let you change jobs in an instance, which I doubt they will do.

    So...why exactly wouldn't you just make whatever the node would give a drop given for (entirely) completing the dungeon?

    Effect is the same, except everyone benefits, not just gatherers, thus extending the incentive of running that stuff to non-gatherers and thereby increasing the magnitude of the desired effect (since more people are now incentivized).

    I personally wouldnt run any low lvl dungeons to get gethering items when I can already get them outside. If they were unique to the dungeon as an incentive to go back to lowbie dungeons, I would just be annoyed with the idea and bring the entire party with me to speedrun as much as I can for efficiency or if possible, even unsync it.

    That's a good argument, but if applied to everything it would remove gathering from the game.

    Or just join as a DoL class from the beginning ^^
    A DoL class can still fight with auto-attack

    Why not a 4 men DoL content you can queue up during specific times?

    This would actually be an interesting way of making new content. I've been thinking about this since the early days of 2.x, tbh. Queue in as a DoL party (or a separate DoL DF, which could also enable a DoL-only Diadem option) into a separate instance of the dungeon. Use the same map, but add fewer monsters (with limited 'hunting grounds', so you can run from them and make them yellow) and put some gathering points and fishing spots here and there. (Some dungeons may require slight edits to add a fishing spot or two.) It'd be interesting to go gather stuff while sneaking past monsters. Could put either unique materials in the dungeons (gathering for those 'rare dungeon mat' drops would be a nice secondary way of getting them, too), or put materials in there you'd normally have to be higher level to get.

    Diadem sorta already has this already, but it fails in this regard because the primary objectives of Diadem are battle oriented.

    You could have a new class of dungeon where bosses block access to DoL nodes, allow unlimited job changing, no drops from the mobs themselves and a strict time limit. More valuable nodes could be deeper in the dungeon, making it more difficult to get to in time but with better materials.

    The materials would also need to be unique (not available anywhere else).

    As others have implied, we asked for this so many times and their response was Diadem. They won't do it as you describe.
