I want tanks to actually have a purpose in PvP other than being forced. Here's ideas.

Same, I won't go into all the possible strats I've run into as my warrior, but these complaints about caster interrupts? Berserk+IR and there's 20secs worth of interrupts, on a healer even more devastating bc of SE debuffs. When the healer starts sprinting to evade you, blast past him and Holmgang out of party range/around a wall, watch the focus target drop within seconds.

30secs left, your heavy medal stacks are up, pop defiance, save your CDs and camp your healer. I've actually ran out the clock with 1hp multiple times thanks to holmgang and that melee dps who thought his lb was gonna snag a last second win.

Bottom line, feast tanking is great where it is for 2/3 classes at the moment

How is it "sooo" off the mark? Let's be honest. Tank class in pvp is boring. And debuff isn't fun. Why can't we get some shorter cooldown tanking abilities like what someone else suggested?
