Why should they get it if melee have to gear/meld to the same frontal cap incase we are forced to attack from the front

They only get it in tank stance, if a tank wants to do any DPS at all they have to slot acc anyway.
The fact of the matter is if they are in tank stance and they don't hit... that's bad news for you.
If a DPS or Healer misses... then its a DPS drop. If a tank misses an opener then someone is likely to die. Even if they don't die then the healer is gonna be forced to stop opening DPS rotations and heal which is another drop in DPS for no reason. It was a boon for them to get a tank stance acc bonus.

I think it would be even more unfair for parties to be unable to complete content because all of the tanks were lacking the accuracy necessary to hold hate. Also, newsflash, we kinda HAVE to attack from the front.
Guess the global tank nerfs wasn't enough for you yet?
Why don't you think what you said through.
Like Karate already said it only works in tank stance. The second a tank misses their end enmity combo on the first strike, Its game over and people will probably die lol.
And if they wanna push DPS in their DPS stance i'm sure they will have to meld some accuracy at some point.(Don't have the numbers at hand so not sure)
But in anyway. Come on dude, I'm sure there are more pressing matters at hand![]()
If I remember correctly wasn't the change made because tanks were actually having problems metting Acc requirments without crafted gear? As in just using Poetics and Dreadwyrm gear there were still problems getting the frontal acc cap. For some reason I remember that being the issue that brought in the 5% acc addition to tanking stance.
To go off what Jamillion said, tanks have to attack from the front. Meaning they have to have more accuracy, both flank and back accuracy is lower than frontal. So unless you are the tank or a DPS/healer that likes to get cleaved you will have lower accuracy requirements than tanks. Caster accuracy requirements are even lower. o7
For the times you are at the front sure you need more accuracy, the tanks on the other hand always do.
No, it's not fair. Yes, it is necessary.

I'm surprised this was made about tanks, and not the inherently lower accuracy requirement for casters.
I remember the old times, back in Nov./Dec. 2013, when our group was unable to clear T4 due to tanks "missing" too much.
They add to aggro the soldiers/knights/dreads real fast so we could burn them within the delay with our bad gear.
Any miss in their aggro combo was leading to a wipe. And there were not a lot of possibilities to get extra accuracy for them.
So yes i'm ok with the extra ACC boost for tank jobs because I dont want to see this happening again. I've been doing all the 2.0 as a caster with not too much difficulties to meet the ACC caps so I'm not jealous for my BLM. Now that I tank a lot in 3.0 I welcome this boost.
