let him die and vote dismiss? , loot only pops on some coffers and bosses,
the tank and healer keep going while u stayed back w/o fighting only because a blm "acid-spited" you?...and argued back and forth ? gez , when im healing or tanking and the dps start fighting over stupid things , i feel like a dad watching 2 kids fight over a toy , in the end it comes to getting the toy to you so no1 wins....
no1 like bad behavior , but u vote dismis him , drop the party or ignore chat ....arguing back is giving this ppl more ammo to throw back at you , u learn that in school...

the OP describes perfectly why I completely stopped using the chat when I join DF. I just go in, kill stuff and leave I ran into people like that way to often.
Not sure why this is becoming more common but it can't be helped. Only way to avoid this is to run DF roulettes in Full Party out of FC/LS/Friendslist.
This has been my mentality as of late. I don't even want to say Hello anymore, just so I don't get attention on me.the OP describes perfectly why I completely stopped using the chat when I join DF. I just go in, kill stuff and leave I ran into people like that way to often.

In one run, I used Kassatsu + Doton on two mobs in Lost City Amdapor Hard, and the DRG laughed at me, telling me to stop. In another run as BRD, true, my damage was below THEIR expectations, but I was never far behind the BLM. I kept up DoTs, Foes, and even kept the WAR from being Pacified. When I ended up with about 8 back-to-back Resets, I spammed Rain of Death. Apparently, they found that to be a bad idea (not sure why).
So, yeah, now... I don't say hello, I don't even offer advice to a first-timer. I remain quiet, send my Comm, Loot the gear, exit.

Grinding is a huge reason people get so numb with player interaction over time.
As you can level everything on one single character, you get to do a lot of that eventually. Same 15-60s dungeons, hundreds of times.
In the end, you try to do them as efficient as possible. Dungeon entered, head lowered, shoulders relaxed, autopilot on, and hoping you get them done around the magical 20 minutes.
Which is another reason why I'll never have every job at level 60 lol... Took all 22 jobs in FFXI to level 99, and only used three of them (COR > NIN > WHM). Not going that route with XIV; only the jobs I'll play/use.Grinding is a huge reason people get so numb with player interaction over time.

I have Stoneskin with a potency of 9000, so I can tolerate staying and ignoring the insults, especially if I joined as a dps 21 minutes after being in queue. DC Universe has a nicer community.
