I agree, I hope SCH is considered in this glamour system.

I know this isn't exactly lore friendly, but I'd love to see SCH glamours like the WHM Moogle for Eos and the BRD Moogle for Selene^^
Coming from someone who mains SCH, SMN needs it more badly than SCH does. Given how difficult they are making it sound, I would rather they get some SMN ones out first and not delay it to do SCH ones.
That said, the idea of giving Scholars moogles is pure gold.
It's a SMN exclusive thing to compensate for SE not delivering new Egi as claimed pre HW, so no don't expect SCHs to get this system.
Personally I see a quick cure-all for this. Multi-color carbuncles, let the gems represent each egi/fairy and mimics its attacks. Give each thier own little twist or animation for the skills and boom. I know I'd take a dark red carbuncle over ifrit if possible.
I'd rather be able to give the fairy outfits like so:

Believe me, you will not have "Echo" from "Mobius Final Fantasy". (just kidding, it looks nice)
The discussions she does with the Hero are great. (I hope we get something similar with Relict Weapons)
It opens Door for many more Mogstation items - however, i like the idea for Costumes!
Starting Video, greet Echo
And a picture with 3 of her costume Examples:

How they can rationalize this honestly is just give SCH/SMN/ACN an arcanist quest at 30 that allows them to glamour to the different carbuncles.
Say that the longer you learn to manipulate Aether the easier it becomes to control it. They do something simple like summon a very obviously Ice Based carbuncle (say Pearl) and have it breath on the Metal Dummy asking that you touch the dummy to see how cold it is. When you touch it though, its hot, VERY HOT. Your character is shocked. Using a great show of mastery over aether, your teacher reveals, that aspects can be hidden to the naked eye by focusing Astral (Light) and Umbral (Darkness) to create a preconceived image. They encourage you to think of it as a charm that has limited applications and is easiest to pull off when you are familiar with the Glamour you are trying to preform (Carbuncles).
A follow up quest at 35 would be for SMN only that might branch from this or completely take the topic and say how mere arcanists can only glamour but you a powerful Summoner enriched in ancient magics can go beyond glamour and take aspects of the Egi entirely into your Summons.
Much much later when SMN has received their last glamour and the developers feel they could spare a little work (even though it WAS NOT PROMISED TO US) on swapping color pallets on Lilly and give it as an additional quest at 35 as well.
Scholars are not expecting to get this when SMN comes out, but we would love if you could give us some glamour options (Carby!) since a large part of the framework has already been completed.
You can't unlock glamour in this game until you complete the Level 50 'Self-improving man' quest, so it's more likely the Egi glamour will be locked behind a Level 50 quest. Wouldn't surprise me if they included completion of said glamour quest as a prerequisite.
Even if you found another Fairy, you wouldn't be able to claim it because each Fairy is bound to a separate SCH jobstone, which makes it different to the Egi and Carbuncle systems. Also just because SE can change something doesn't necessarily mean they always should.
