Please add indicator for who is new in an instance

As a mentor who has done it dozens upon dozens of times, only about 10% of the time does anyone actually say when they are the new person.

PLEASE add a feature where we can see who is the new player in a trial or instance so we can at least explain certain mechanics to them. Otherwise it becomes a guessing game and it's just ... blah, inconvenient for all parties. It's fine when all 7 are new but when it's one that doesn't want to speak up, I really would just like to look at the party list and know who it is to explain mechanics to.

This would be a great feature in friendly parties that want to help the newcomer. It would be a terrible feature in certain toxic parties that will kick the newcomer simply for being new. The later is why we're unlikely to get it.

What Niwashi said. The ability to abuse it would sadly be too great weighted against the benefit. Besides you don't need to know who's the new one to explain the core mechanics.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

It would help for certain cases since there are specific things that may need to be done for each class. It's just a little frustrating as a mentor to get silence when it would help streamline things to know who is new.

Perhaps if there's a way to make it mentor only? Typically, it is very obvious when I'm in a party with 7 new people, but sometimes it's a bit more iffy.

no because some mentors are unsavoury, if someone wants to come forward and say 'hey I'm new here' that's their choice, putting a system in for identifying new people specifically would bring piles and piles of abuse, even from someone who is a 'mentor'
