I'm... just tired of the Feast. So tired. And I see it in the streamers that play it as well. You can see it in their eyes, and the tone of their voice. They start off the stream all happy. "I'm having fun!" And then the losses take their toll. Terrible groups. Last minute losses to melee LB. Trolls. Bots. So many situations you can literally do nothing about. There's a feeling of hopelessness that sets in after a while. You queue in, hoping against hope, that maybe this time, you'll get the good players you recognize on your team, but no... It's that AST who spends more time humping the floor than healing. It's that DRG that ignores focus targets, and runs in with 5 stacks. It's that DRK who spends the entire match in tank stance, and beats on the other tank. It's that BRD who doesn't understand how to use the PvP song when the healer is OOM, and doesn't know how Blood for Blood works.

And it's every. Single. Match. Watching your rating plummet, like a falling rock. Going from almost gold, to 500 purgatory again. Seeing the same depression hit all your friends in the Feast.

I've had my friends tell me to just walk away, and stop playing, because they can hear the frustration in me building after every pathetic loss.

I had so many hopes... So many. Finally, something I could enjoy. Instead, I'm starting to hate myself. To hate the game. To hate every horrible scrub who decides to enter the Feast, and fail over, and over, and over again. To see the names of the players on your team, and know immediately how the match is going to go. There's the healer who can't stay alive for 5 seconds. There's the tunnel vision DPS... And, oh. The trifecta. The tank who's going to run into the enemy base with all the medals he picked up, provided we actually manage to get any.

If this is the "Competitive PvP" SE has to offer, then as soon as I get my Gloria mount, I'm out. I'm done. I've been a PvPer for over a decade. It's what I do, what I have always done in every MMO that allows me to do so. But this... garbage? It's killing any desire to PvP at all in this game.
