So they have once again admitted that consolws are holding the game back but not for the usual reasons.

And people want this game to come to Xbone and don't think there would be even more limitations.

Lmao that's the best thing I've read here in awhile. You realize that the PS4 and PC version run nearly identical right? And the PS4 and Xbox are very similar hardware wise? The reason the game has had updates held back is the fact the PS3 is nearly a decade old, which is like trying to use 19th century tech in today's world when it comes to hardware. Let's also not forget the Mac version of the game would also have to have add ons configured for it as well. Or the fact the SE evidently can't hire anymore developers for this game so content gets gutted because lack of manpower. But yes, let's just blame the consoles, that's the only reason the game has issue.

The PS4 and PC version run nearly identically because the PC version isn't allowed to have anything the PS4 version can't have... When we got TP meters we lost the party stat bonus UI because the console versions didn't have enough memory. The PC version had to lose it as well even though it had abundant memory, just to keep things 'fair'.

The addons issue IS a console limitation problem as well. You cannot install addons for a game on console unless you do it via the game's online store. That means if this game gets addons, SE need to negotiate a special system to facilitate players on consoles uploading and downloading addons via the PSN store. That is a HUGE undertaking and will likely cost SE more money than it's worth to be honest. Since the players on console likely won't get addons, those of us on PC can't get them either in order to keep things 'fair'.

If you truly don't think the consoles are holding this game back you really haven't been following the development of this game much.
