    Complete theory craft, but in any competition, the top tier are never remade teams; people are scouted, they try out, they're drafted.

    I like to believe SE has some grand design about pvp. I hope that solo q is about finding the best of the best in "their" opinion, and those players will be part of the process; closed betas for new modes, revamping the system and modes we have, or as far as a Esport league I've heard some discussion about on here.

    I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    In LAN games, sure. You don't have that luxury when your party formation is limited to the realm you're in. This would be the best option if they wanted to reward out based on rankings from server games.
