New food
Old food
Is Sweet Gnomefish correct, there's not a problem with it? It's stats give less than older food, plus it has no third stat. We don't really have a lot of good food options right now, so why is this in the game?

Sweet Gnomefish was added as an "easy" way to grind spiritbond (there was a dev post around 3.2 patch launch about that). Same is true of other even less useful crafted items like 2* Camphorwood Lumber, Sewing Needles etc. CUL's lucky their SB item is actually sort of useful, not so lucky in that gnomefish are an arse to fish.
edit: ah found the post.

it gives less stats because the actual recipe requires very few items unlike other foods.

Can you desynth them or anything? I wasn't sure if could but maybe it would be good for desynth at least if it's possible.
It's not really useful, nobody will use this food outside freeing up inventory space. Not to mention the fish required isn't fished much, so it's not going to be mass produced. Which leads to why the hell is it used for spiritbonding? Even if the expense justified the rewards it's not easy to get Gnomefish, nobody's going to be mass producing it to spiritbind. This just seems like a waste, which is sad considering the state of endgame food.

Can't all be winners. Every other craft of similar caliber like the "Sewing Needle" is very easy and great for spiritbonding. It's not really useful, nobody will use this food outside freeing up inventory space.
