Pll using quelling strike, elusive jump, or NIN abilities ... you can't rely on enmity list.

Always try to buff as a AoE
Not always fight the DPS the same target.
You have to switch between every enemy to see which DPS have the highest enmity on his target (or on every enemy in total if a DPS is a BLM).
Another questions, what exactly is the difference between spear and arrow?

Arrow is kind of like haste. For example, if in 10 seconds you'd normally be able to use 5 attacks, repeating the situation with arrow on would allow you to do 6 attacks in that same time frame of 10 seconds.
Spear reduces the cooldown of abilities. So if a skill normally takes 60 seconds before it can be used again, spear would make it take only 50 seconds before it can be used again.
I think that's how they work. (I'm just using random numbers)

I agree with you but offer the following:Faulty logic is faulty. How would adding an official parser change the party leaders behavior in the above instance at all? It might have actually helped the party member in question since they would have been able to better defend themselves. Also, calling someone out for low DPS isn't proof of a parser, soooooo.....
Player called out begins to defend their DPS, others weigh in about rotations etc. It eventually ends up being a cluster of arguments & counter-arguments rather than getting the job done.
I'm incredibly conflicted about parsers because I can see the real value in having the figures but unfortunately we just cannot trust a huge portion of the community to behave decently with them. The current situation is how it has to be until players realise they need to work together & show far less entitlement than they currently do.

For the love of Halone, not again with this thread!!

The only way to avoid the parser-obsesed abuse is make a personal parser, only for you, but not allow see other people DPS and put a message in red (like the vote kick) adversiting that abusing with this is a punishable act. This way you still can report a bad use of it. Problem solved. If someoen ask "make a capture and send me to see the DPS", you can say no.

Agree with OP.
Some of you guys didn't even read WHY it would be meaningful to AST, you just saw "parser" and hopped in here to "NOPE."
OP even gave you a TLDR... GG
Logic and statistics have already shown that 80% of the players against parsers don't do endgame raids and are usually afraid that the world will find out their dps sucks.

Logic and statistics says , that players who have fun in game dont post on the forums :P and actually play the game instead ^^
Also people who think they are soooo good in a video game want a dps parser to prove how good they are and how bad the casual player is :P to boost theyre alrdy high ego to the sky on some general forums where 99% of the world dosnt give a damn :P
