Hey there! First time posting on the forums here, just put together a more recent and attempt at a pretty quick reference for aspiring Astrologians to keep their Royal Roads straight.

The star background, while thematically appropriate, actually slows down your quick reference by a large factor, and the order (reading from top to bottom) effect-image-name could easily read as image-name-effect or name-effect-image because of the closeness of the cards.


The aid aside, the conceptual bases for the cards are as follows.

Bole and Balance strengthen the target's defenses or attacks; burning will strengthen your next card. Card potency +50%.

Spear and Arrow affect the flow of time around a target; burning will affect the flow of time for your next card. Card duration +100%.

Ewer and Spire give your target the energy for more actions; burning will give your next card the energy for more actions. Card affects target and targets near him. (also -50% potency)

I would put both the name and effect together on the bottom of the card. Its quite easy at a glance to miss Bole and Balance effect at the top of the card and just assume Arrow and Spear effects are the ones they give as they are directly beneath Bole and Balance names.
