Yes if no one goes in it for 45 days it will get demolished and you get 80% of the gil you paid back. I'm assuming by the price it was a medium. 24 mil for a medium is really cheap that's not a bad deal lol. They cost 37 mil on my server.

but yeah, like other said, don't enter for 45 days and make a 20% loss. Reclaim that at your friends lol.

Just make sure that, after the 45 days are up, you go to the NPC to pick up your gil right away. If you don't talk to the NPC within 35 days of the reclamation, you'll lose that gil (and recoverable furnishings) forever.
