I vote yes for weeding in-game only if 2 reason is available:

    1. Add fashion clothe : weeding dress and tuxedo for all char can wear freely when marriage and not

    2. No super power wedding gear pls, just a good look ring with no stat, no ability, and prefer cost 0 slot in accessory

Note: I dont see a reason to vote no for this feature, but I dont like when ppl marriage each other for clothe or because of w/e ability you can get but I want ppl marriage each other because they like each other or for fun

It would be wonderful if they implemented this sort of feature. 'Course people want as much will often do it themselves - goodness knows a friend and I and our guild did, back on Ragnarök Online before Gravity implemented a formal marriage system. But all the same it's always so much more fun when the game itself accommodates such things.

That said, last time this topic came up, I also said I didn't see it being implemented for some while. As much as I'd love it to appear and as soon as possible (and while I don't know about how it went in Final Fantasy XI) marriage systems are often some of the last things to be implemented; a really nice touch once the developers have really found their stride and can focus on embellishment rather than additional functionality.

Some people just do it for the snazzy suits, ha ha ha. I do recall seeing Shantotto in the Dissidia sequel actually wearing a wedding garment. Of course, it'd be kind of hard to picture how it looked on her on say a Mithra or an Elvaan - or even a Hume.

Can I marry my Path Companion? I'm pretty sure I'm in love with him.
    Anyway.
I don't see why this shouldn't be implemented; for those that don't like it, it's not like they'd be forced to take part in it or anything. I mean, I won't say no to some pretty-albeit-statless gear, and it's not like it'd do any harm. I do agree that if it's implemented, it likely won't be for a while yet -- but it's maybe something to look forward to in the future, at least?
... but I still want to marry my Path Companion. >:

One of my LS mates has the Miqo'te companion, and she's got some great lines in the cutscenes from what I've heard, ahaha. I've got the Highlander myself, and I'm very sad I just finished Futures Perfect and I have no more quests to look forward to with him in it. >:

Marriage is just a con to get half the other person's stuff if they cheat on you.

By embellishment I meant adding non-essential content to the game for the sake of it simply being nice, not just as in adding different clothes ^^; Although I suppose that might fall under the same thing. 'Least I assume you're misunderstanding that given what you underlined of my post in quotation.

Appropriate clothing would improve things even further for me, but it's far from a make or break beside how nice it would be if the game simply justified players' in-game marriages with a ceremony and a few little systemic nods. For me, they wouldn't even have to be positive ones; locking out a ring slot permanently would actually be something I'd favour since then people might be less inclined to use the system 'for the hell of it' and invest the decision with a bit more meaning.
