Mog Sachel

Hi all, I originally started on FFIV 1.0 and the head bobbing was giving me simulation sickness so I stopped playing after a week. When I heard about the total revamping of the game I wanted to come back, but found out my token generator had run out of batteries.

After years of trying to get customer service to fix it, I finally had it removed from my account recently and got the new expansion. Anyone know what happens to my Mog Sachel that I got from linking my token to the account?

I don't think mog satchel is a thing in XIV? I think it's just for XI. The bonus for having the software token in XIV 2.0 is a second free teleport location. I could be wrong, but I've never seen or heard of a mog satchel. Welcome back!

Ahh, thanks. Well it was too much to hope for that the Mog Sachel would carry over to the new game. But that free teleport location sounds great!

The free teleport sounds great... but really teleport is so cheap I'd much rather have the mog satchel back! Plus people always complaining about inventory space...

The Mog Satchel is part of FFXI, not FFXIV. What you get for protecting your account with a token generator in FFXIV is the ability to designate one Aetheryte as free to teleport to.

You get quite a lot of inven space already here (especially when you count in the Armoury Chest; 100 spaces of general use and 25 spaces in the Chest for each equipment slot), and if you want more storage space, you can buy up to six addditional retainers (in addition to the two you get to begin with--each retainer has 175 inven slots) at the Mogstation.

I would still recommend keeping a one-time password for security purposes anyway. I believe there's an app version you can get on your phone now if you don't want to pay for a physical device.
