The Crystal Tower raids are somewhat relevant again! :D

I'm so excited that they found a way to make these raids relevant again! I know SO MANY people who never got a chance to do these raids because they joined too late! And I only got to do them once for completition before the que times went past an hour!

Now I can strive for my Demon robe of healing and Demon Scouting gear!

And all the drops for upgrading Ironwork gear for my lvl 50s.


I have been seeing a lot of trouble with World of Darkness though, since there are a lot of new people doing it or those who have forgotten because of how long it's been, it's still easy to wipe if you don't do the mechanics properly. So I've had a lot of nasty people and rage quitters the other day.


How is everyone feeling about the return of the Crystal Tower raids??

Working at getting old Gear for glamour you never had a chance to get??

Or that minion that was just too out of reach?

Or just doing it for the Aether Oil for your i230 weapon ?

Excited! I liked these raids, specially World of Darkness, they were fun to do. I'm glad people are doing them again, no matter the reason. Enjoy these, we've got a least 5 weeks worth of relatively fast queues. Hopefully it will last longer.

I can finally get back the ct 1 stuff i desynth !
And didn't expect it but

I got 2 minion out of the 3 CT i did today (ct1 and ct3 minion XD)
Great surprise
But missed music =X
Which i Would have prefer since i'm close to the 30 sheet

I'm with Lan, I always really enjoyed ST and WoD. I like LoA but I started after it had become irrelevant so I didn't run it until the weekly quest was introduced.

Final Fantasy III is my favorite game out of the NES ones and this dungeon when I first played it was an awesome recreation but the queue times are a bit long it seems on my server. Wasn't there day 1 when they added the new item you can get so back to 30 minute queues.

Almost finished my Warrior of Light set too.

I too was excited to see new relevance brought to the old ARR raids, they are miles better than Void Ark in my opinion.

until I think I joined an unofficial race to beat them in world record beating time, despite bonus being in the group somewhere, mechanics were mostly ignored, Healers had to carry for the most part, and 0 time was given before each boss to even apply a swiftcasted Stoneskin 2 >< let alone explain mechanics.

a total shame in other words, I did get my Demon healer robe at long last and a song from Syrcus Tower but the general rush rush ethos that seems to dominate most dungeons now is garbage tbh

I'm incredibly happy for this, since I wasn't around when they were relevant. Now if they make a roulette to keep them relevant... and if the Binding Coil came around again...
