Please reconsider RNG system (Dev Request)

For a while now I keep observing current rng system and the way its unfair for the most of the players.

After farming A7 for a single Median Spring about 22 times now my rolls were (in order): 1 , 8, 8, 11, 33, 4, 14, 52, 9... then I just lost it and stopped counting, because all the numbers were below 60. It's not just Alexander Midan, but all the primals and their loot as well. I run Ravana Extreme for at least 610 times now and everytime the lanner drops, I lose it by rolling below 40.

It might seem funny, but I even had this brief thought about being "cursed" by some developer who doesn't like the look of my character or something, because it's just unbelievable how unlucky can one get. It also made me want to quit the game entirely, as climbing the same mountain for hundreds of times knowing that you will slide off it anyway is very discouraging.

So pretty please with sugar on top, lift my curse or consider re-designing it.

Sorry to hear about your bad rolls, but random is random. There's nothing they can do to change it as then it wouldn't be random... (and if they did, what about the other 7 people and their rolls?)

They can change it to not be random - or have fail safes. Someone, for example, suggested that 99 totems that drop anyway (currently used for weapons) can be used to purchase the whistle.

This is what I wanted to refer to, but the character limit wouldn't let me. Well, they managed to do something like that for Savage already. You either get your drop or a page which you can later trade for your desired item.

I also spotted something weird in all this. Ever noticed someone always rolls above 90 for a primal mount? I have not seen a single person winning it with 72 or 85 for example. Another thing is that I never ever actually seen someone rolling a perfect 100.

I believe the first mount I've ever won was with a 27. I think it's just statistics though. Chances are 1 in 10 that a person will roll between 90 and 100, and there are 8 people rolling. I don't feel like doing the maths, but that seems like decent odds that someone will roll above 90.

They could just as easily add totems or something of the like which you can trade for an item of your choice after a certain amount so atleast you feel like your accomplishing something even with streaks of bad luck.

You said you ran Ravana Ex 610 times for the bird?

Also for the Midan gear: we are lucky with this patch because the i220 crafted stuff makes a wonderful alternative in most cases, especially given that it can be overmeld whereas the Midan stuff only has 2 slots.

If it takes me more than 2 evenings of Midas farm to get my loot I just buy the crafted gear instead. It takes me more or less two days to make the right amount of gils in the meantime with my crappy GSM so it s ok for me (friends can craft everything within a range of 500k-1M which is not too horrible).

I never had to run any Midas turn for more than 7 times so far and this strategy enabled me to get 2 i220 jobs in 4 weeks (got 10 Midas drops and bought 10 crafted items. The rest is i230.)

And the Brute Justice card dropped on our 10th kills.

You can't roll 100, it only goes from 1-99 (with 0 being reserved for passes.)
