As we know, There are some argues, as if Samurai should be tank or DPS.
Well, first of all, we don't know, if it comes in next expansion at all, but hype is strong enough to say that it would be cool, if it was considered.

As to say, we didn't get any Arcanist-like splitting proffesions.
Regardless, if Samurai will be implemented, or not, adding more shared-weapon jobs with different roles could save some concept-making time, maybe even balance up to level 30, or simply pleasure of gaming with certain weapon as different role.

And when we mentioned level 30.
Next classes starting from level one? Please?

SAM is likely because A) it was teased in the rising event (along with RDM and BLU) and B) DRK was supposed to be SAM before it was changed due to visual similarities to NIN.

As for the ACN idea, the devs really don't like it, and don't like Base classes in general so it is very unlikely. Personally it would be a poor move because stay allocation would force you to play either side, like what happens with SCH and SMN right now. There is no benefit from splitting the job in two, and the resources would be better spent making two jobs.

Finally, its quite likely that we will start from lvl 30 again, because the reason for that was that the new jobs had no Base class and job quests have always started at lvl 30. I don't see that changing (if it does I would expect it to be lvl 35-40)
