    Thoughts on 24-Man Savage-tiered content for the game?

    Hello, I don't post here all that often (or at all really) but I figure that I could share a thought that I've had swimming in my head.

    What are player (and hopefully developer) thoughts on hardcore 24-man savage content? It'll give raiders another goal to reach past the 8-man tiered content and would require coordination with 2 other parties (presumably run by the same FC considering the amount of coordination and man power it would require).

    Of course, an idea like this has its problems such as how it would handle static-made parties as well as what kind of gear/items such content would drop. There is also the man power required by the dev team to plan out and create resources for this additional content that they may not have alongside with everything else they have to release

    I'm just throwing the idea out there. What does the forum think? Any ideas that need to be expanded upon/added to or is the whole idea shoddy?

    What would the content be though? Savage CT/VA?

    It would be weird if they randomly threw in a 24 man Alexander.

    I doubt people want to lose their new rotations to go do old content with a harder difficulty.

    And I think it'd be a waste of resources to redesign that content, not only to have more interesting mechanics that are worthy of being called a savage mode, but to also redo it for an increased level cap. Simply not worth the resources.

    I feel about the same for VA. It'd be a waste to redesign it for a savage mode.

    You also have to think, who would honestly be doing this? Getting 3 whole statics worth of players to work together for something as challenging as savage?

    The population that actually clears savage right now is so low, a 24 man would only be cleared by really bored and/or the top tier FCs with multiple statics that raid savage at a high level. Things like elysium, who have multiple groups.

    I don't think it'd be worth it, hardly anyone would be clearing this imo.

    I mean the 24 mans are face rolls, if they get a "Savage" tune they'd probably be more in line with the difficulty of a regular coil or midas savage encounter which isn't out of the realm of possibility for premade FC statics. Gordias savage was admittedly overtuned by devs.

    Problem with this is, many players struggle to even put together a group of 8. The majority of players wouldn't be able to do the content since they'll have to find 24 people who are able to raid at the same time for a couple of hours, even the same days out of the week. It would be a clusterfuck basically.

    I am more supportive about savage dungeons rather than 24-mans. I never had problem finding a static and other 7 people with same time schedule to do progress, but 24 people? I don't know, organising such huge group of people would be really exhausting. I can imagine something like harder 24-man that would need a few wipes or so, but definitely not savage difficulty, that I would keep for full and light parties.

    Well; if they do bring out 24-man content the gear would have to be worth doing it. Otherwise people won't bother.

    It has to be interesting; and not just appearance or stat gear that will get replaced in 3 months as per usual.
