Ceremony of Eternal Bonding scheduling bug

I read all of your rules and feel they don't apply to this situation.
I am on a PC and my friend is on a ps4. She had checked prior to our scheduling that her time zone was correctly set on her ps4. My time zone is correctly set on my PC and in game.

My friend and I tried to schedule a ceremony of eternal bonding. I read that scheduling syncs to each individual's time zone for invitations. I was in a group with my partner, as requested, and I was the one that clicked on 6 pm CDT (my time) and it scheduled us for 12 noon CDT, which would be 6 pm HER time. Why did the game do this so we can avoid it when we reschedule? I went back and took screenshots of chat messages and the blank invitation, so I am positive this is what happened.
