I would love that.Actually, as I heard they bring a gunner-like class to the game, I ve expected something different than a simple Bard-clone. I really love to play MCH, but there could be a bigger impact on most skills. Some skills are fine, but other skills are looking boring.
I totally agree, that Wildfire should end with an explosion or something. Most skills are just lame animated or just a sound effect with smoke. My suggestions are:
1. Gauss-Barell: Remove that ugly rotating thing and give a silencer or some kind of effects (glowing, sparkles, whatever)
2. Wildfire: Wildfire should end with a huge explosion or shockwafe.
3. Gauss-Shot: Change it to a small laserbeam or smoke line. Just make it look a bit more devastating.
and Grenado Booooom.
Pleeeeeeeeeease, Square Enix, pleeeeeeeease

SE, listen to her please!
The animations was my biggest disappointment too.
I mean, the game doesn't have some false sense of '' realism '' to begin with. They could've been a bit more imaginative with it.
I wasn't hoping for a '' gun-kata '', but at least a little bit more towards it :P. Some more flashy '' I am awesome, and imma show it off '' moves.
Dear lawd forbid that games are fun anymore I guess. Cuz '' mah realism ''.
I've actually seen people bring that up as a defense of the boring animations, because flashier ones wouldn't be '' realistic ''.
Those people are playing the wrong game if that's what they want, lol.
Some more gadgets would be fun too. Grenades and stuff like that. Lead shot could've been a shrapnel grenade for example.

The part of Wildfire is that we are so reliant on it, but the debuff can be pushed off the mob if there are too many debuffs on it. Also, the description says we cover the mob with explosive pitch. If you look at the animation, you throw a magnetic timebomb on the target, which adheres (clicking sound) and then blinks a bit before fading away. The 'explosion' is a tiny little fiery blast for a split second. You barely see an explosion. It's a small flash and then smoke, but it's so minuscule.

Even White Mages have DPS habilities more impressive than MCH... Miracle for instance is loud and flashy... lucky them
Only animation that bugs me for MCH is the needless handwaving u do when u'r "casting" a shot with Gauss Barel on... I meen come on its a gun not a wand

Rep team, copy/paste this and send it to SE team about 50 times. And then 50 times again the next day.
