    I vote for both a /random command AND a need/greed/pass system with a master looter option. What's so bad about need b4 greed?

    What's bad about it is it's not really need b4 greed. It's I feel entitled to your drop because I ran the run as x class and you didn't. Whether or not a person gives up a piece of gear they can use on another class should be their decision, not someone else's.
