I need Macro help!

Ok, so I want to make a macro that whispers my target as I cast rez on them. Mainly to use it on people I come across who die in a FATE and I am not in a party with. So it gives them a message of "Hey, I am rezing you, do not release!" or something like that.

Figured this would come in handy, cause I have had a few people disappear just before my cast is going off on them lol. I looked around online, but couldn't figure out what the whisper(tell) target command is, or is there just not one?

Is the macro I want possible? If so how do I set that up?! (I've always sucked at setting up macros in games)

To put a bit more detail into Niamh's suggestion, try something like this,



With the macro icon command used, when placed on your hotbar it'll have the proper cooldown animation like other abilities.
Replace "Raise" with Resurrection or Ascend if you're a SCH or AST.

Just an FYI, you can't use /tell in instances, so you'll get an error if you try to use it in a dungeon

Stouter is right.
Most people I've noticed have a party chat or say chat instead of a tell, only because when you do 8-man content there'll be another healer and both of you casting raise is just a waste!

I generally don't use macros myself, but the small bits of coordination can be useful to some.

Mainly just wanted it to stop people from releasing in the middle of a FATE and missing out on the reward, or have to run back from who knows where! That is my main rez issues XD
