Better makeup options? Cosmetics in general?

If we're going to get more options for character customisation - which is sorely needed - I'd rather it be something that will benefit everybody rather than the portion of the community that lean towards playing female characters or feminine looking men.

Personally, I think makeup is the easiest to implement. Tattoos and stuff can also come with it on other parts of the body.

But we all know they will gate it behind a fishing swimsuit.

No offense, but the eyeshadow in this game leaves much to be desired. It's like someone just took a paintbrush and slapped it on. :X




And yesssss! I wish blush could be in its own category. I think most characters (male and female) look better with some sort of color on the cheeks. It's a shame we're stuck with one or the other.

Especially on Au Ra......... I just really can't stand the way it just OVERLAPS their scales like??? Take a scale and put makeup on it. It's not the same as skin.

Rather than asking for unisex options, why not suggest something equivalent for male characters?

I think tattoos are the male equivalent, but I think there will be issues with that since we have tattoos in the game via shirtless glamour pieces that go for money.

Personally, I am ALL for drag queens or kings in Eorzea.

Men could get more facial hair options. I think facial hair for guys shouldn't be something that's tied to what face you pick,
but a extra feature that's shared between all of them. And also I totally agree with expanding make-up & what not.
I hate having shiny lips, I wish I could have more of a matte color, plus would be nice to have better eyeshadow. :/

True, the facial hair options are pretty bad. I really do not like how they've given most people really bare mustaches or unflattering beards. I love beards and facial hair is kind of an art, but this game doesn't really respect that.

Though personally I kinda like how some people have been playing with the beards/mustaches on all genders, lol.

I'm surprised (unless I missed it earlier) that no one has mentioned de-coupling the horns from the faces for Au'Ra.

There would likely be a "lore" reason to not do so.
