"Final Fantasy XIV and PSO2 Collaboration Announced"

As for a collab, I have no idea what we'd even get from PSO2. That game is such a hodgepodge of content and themes utterly devoid of anything that could be considered "iconic" enough that no matter what we get, it still wouldn't really capture the game in a way that other games can do with XIV. In fact, there have been times where PSO2 has seemed more like "collaboration: the MMORPG".

Aside from the usual collab weapons/costumes, they could have one of the Dark Falz show up as a collab boss because their aesthetic isn't something that would be out of place in XIV and they and their Darker minions could be easily dismissed as an unusual type of voidsent.

Helps that all of them use moves that could easily be translated into conventional MMOs by simply adding AoE indicators and a cast time, too.
