"Final Fantasy XIV and PSO2 Collaboration Announced"

They said it will be an XBox exclusive.

So far we know it's going to be on the Xbox Store. Doesn't say it's exclusive to just Xbox, and even then if it were it does say PC as well on the end card. Xbox and PC are so integrated now any game you think that will be just on Xbox will also be on Windows.

PSO2 is also on the Vita so I'm sure this is just Microsoft making the big announcement live before Sony does theirs in a State of Play feature. I don't think Sony would pass on this as many people are used to XIV on PS4 and Sega is all for bringing in an mmo experience to the west

Especially since Sega said on record they want to make more online games for the west.

It'd be neat to have a PSO2 collab, but if it's one sided and FF XIV gets nothing then, quite frankly, I don't even care about the announcement.

Given Sony's ill-advised, ill-fated, and outright ridiculous policy changes as of late, I don't mind if the PS4 release is skipped if it means we don't get a censored game to appease certain groups who are probably not (and likely won't ever be) fans of the game and are only doing this just for clout and to flex their muscles. (I have no tolerance for censorship, much less censorship for political reasons). Admittedly selfish, but that's how I feel.

As late as it is, I don't mind that much since I've been playing DC Universe Online, which existed even longer than PSO2 and has just recently been announced for the Switch. Nevertheless, 2020 can't come soon enough and I hope that this doesn't end up cancelled.

Back on DCUO: When the PS4 was first released, it was essentially a launch title. Maybe PSO2 will be one for Project Scarlett.

It's only 3 years later and we just got an announcement of PSO2 coming to the west next year.
