So is virtually every flourish and completely overglamoured armor and outfit, including the extensive glamour makeups that one would wear into battle.

Not really, just providing a point that over the top design is a staple in the game in general. Usually calling something "dumb" is a good way to get a negative response as well.

Now that we are almost a year into the first expansion would it be possible to finally restore our character lower body shapes, while ..fixing the lower body of the new races as well?

Sadly it wasn't just miqo'te that were effected by this



It seems almost all races were reduced in order for them to meet the costs for ARR Launch, while the new races (at the time) FemRoe, Male Miqo'te, Female Highlander were also given a lower body reduction.

(On a side note I don't think Female Au Ra were as effected by this as the other races)

I really hope there's a point where they spend a majority of their time fixing/improving the characters in general
