Has anyone else noticed this? If you cast Paralyze on a monster and one of it's attacks is stopped by the paralysis, it will just attack again almost immediately.
Is this a bug or intended?

Its not a bug, I don't think....
When you are paralyzed, And you try to perform an ability, It doesn't work, so no cooldown timer, no animation delay...
Which means you can try to perform either the same ability or a different one, almost immediately
I would imagine it works the same way on MOBs
I see your point though... You think maybe there should be a 1 to 3 second delay after an ability fails to initiate due to paralyze?
The problem is that mobs are still working on the same scripts they had before auto attack was introduced. Mage type mobs won't use any physical strikes even when they are in range to do so and any mob can spam tp moves without any sort of auto attack going off in between.
Mob combat scripting needs an overhaul to bring it up to speed.
You've answered your own question. Paralyze doesn't generate a Stun or Petrify effect.
In short terms, thread title is not valid. Maybe you should change it to "Paralyze status effect doesn't do what I want".
English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

You don't have to be so bashing.
It's not really a bug, but as rydin said, it is a problem with the monster AI, and we can only hope they fix it sooner rather than later.
It's the same with our own skills. If I get paralyzed, I just spam the button, and it'll usually work again within a second.
