Then can't people cheat the system by reducing the amount of gear sets so they can only have one or two jobs at the ready?

What's wrong with that? That person would just be switching between 2 jobs. I have a max of 5 jobs 2 dps and 3 healers, and when it comes to dungeons, fates, and any Form of grinding they all can get the job done. But after awhile doesn't it get boring trying to decide on which job you want to play next knowing you can do equally well with all of them? Wouldn't it be more fun just picking a job at random and going with that?
