DC Universe Online - Each "class" has two roles, one dps, the other it's support (tank, heal etc) role. You can queue for one instance as all of them at once, and it switches you to it when you enter the instance. if an F2P model can do it, why not this?
Because FF14 is a special snowflake, both good and bad.
I'm not saying I oppose or support, but i'd be very worried if I get a SCH that has SMN's attribute allocations in my roulette...

It seems like a lot of work for something so.. pointless? You can just put your jobs in an online randomizer and have that pick for you. Not many people at all are stuck between 3 or 4 jobs because generally people have their own preference with classes and play styles. Also, they'd have to have 3 or 4 classes at similar levels for this to even work, which again, not many people have as people tend to level one thing at a time.

So your saying it was pointless for them to make a mount roulette and then a flying mount roulette? Also Heavensward has been out for some time now. If it was released like a month ago I would completely agree with you, but at this point wouldn't people have more then 2 lvl 60 characters? On top of that the devs makes it easy to play catch up, so it's possible to make it to i200 in a very short period of time.

Mount and minion roulette are completely aesthetic. Playing different classes isn't.So your saying it was pointless for them to make a mount roulette and then a flying mount roulette? Also, I assumed you meant a leveling roulette. A level 60 job roulette seems even more pointless, as the reward is no different regardless, and you wouldn't even be getting exp.
Again, if you really want to randomise your jobs just do it yourself. It just seems a waste of development time for something so trivial.
It would be nice, this could potentially solve many problems, like, people waiting on specific role to start dungeon. But I don't think SE will consider this necessery. People usually don't have issues deciding which job they want to play next. If SE happen to implent this system, some players - such as yourself would use it, while others who only play 1 job or want to play specific job are not. So.. this would only separate player base even more than today. Unless those are tied to regular expert dungeons. Then I think no one would have any problems and SE should do it, just to help people find each other instead of waiting 20 - 30 minutes on average 5 min wait time lol

Wo wo wo hold on! Your going over board, I wasn't talking revamping the system to make it where you can end up in a dungeon with any random job that you have in your gear set. I talking about something along the lines ofand then maybe que for dungeon or whatever.
