Being penalised for remaining loyal

So once again we see an offer for players who have been inactive for 30+ days to come and enjoy 4 days free play. Whilst 4 days may not seem a lot what about the players who have remained loyal to the game and have constantly renewed their subs. Shouldn't we receive 4 free days too ? I realise SE are running a business but please don't forget your loyal subscribers when deciding on such promotions.

Personally, I'm more concerned about the possibility of it disrupting the 45 day reclamation cycle for abandoned housing.

Personally, I don't think logging in during free days should be counted in the "Visit to save it" time table.

Because as I understand it, simply going "Hey free log in day, not like I'm going to come back but I'll still log in for a few minutes to keep my housing plot" is actually a valid scenario for an ex-player to retain something they no longer have a right too.

While I'm not in the housing hunt at all, I would really hope their check-in during this time doesn't count, but I'm sure it does.

They don't happen often enough to keep a house if you're no longer playing.

It still resets the timer when they log in and adds another 45 days until it gets demolished, though.

Which is great for those who do intend to keep playing. And people who are no longer playing are unlikely to do this anyway.

It's obvious it is meant to get people who have unsubbed to log back in and get hooked. However, it's also a slap in the face to current paying subscribers. While it may be good to bring back people you've lost, it's not a very good way to keep your current base happy.
