Greetings,

This is the recruitment page for Vae Victis, aiming to take on Savage Raids, Extreme Primals and beyond. We are a collection of skilled players, who occasionally will seek other skilled players to join us for our raids. While most of our members all belong to the same FC, joining this FC is not essential, as we will communicate via an LS and Discord.

Please read all of our requirements below before applying.


Our requirements for joining are as follows:

• Being able to play your selected job(s) at a high skill level.
• Motivation and dedication for clearing content, expect to wipe a lot in new content; 'ragequitting' will not be tolerated.
• Ability to use Discord for voice communications, while talking is not essential, listening is.
• Good English skills. We raid in English and tactics will be explained via voice chat.
• Ability to pass a trial. We will take potential recruits into content with us, where you will be judged on whether or not you are of high enough quality for the static.
• Quick learning. While we ask you to expect some wipes, there is a limit to people's patience; staying on the same boss for a long time is highly demotivating for most raid groups. We ask that you be able to learn tactics quickly so we can farm runs as soon as possible.
• To be able to match our schedule. We mostly raid in the evenings at 6:00pm ST, with no specified days (usually three days a week,) so flexibility is preferable. Please tell us if there are any days on which you cannot raid, so we can avoid these!
• To have fun playing the game! We aim to clear content and have fun and a bit of a laugh while doing so. While we expect dedication, you don't have to dedicate your entire life. That's no fun at all.

What we do not expect from you

While it is preferable, you do not require a high item level or past raiding experience to join. We understand that some people may have rejoined the game recently and be behind in item level, or may be new to the game and have not raided in the past. These issues are fine as long as you have the skill to make up for it. However, after joining the static, we do expect you to cap tomestones and acquire gear every week where possible. Laziness and lack of dedication will leave you lagging behind the rest of the group and, if the problem persists, may lead to your dismissal from the static, as we will believe you are no longer motivated for playing the game or not dedicated enough to the group.

Haven't updated this in a while.

A6S was cleared on 17/06/16 (JUST) there are no screenies of this one probably because we were all so glad to FINALLY have it down after way too many setbacks. (Also a pretty nice welcome for Lilya to the static, first proper run with our new BRD!) there's a clear video out there somewhere.

A7S meanwhile was cleared on 13/07/16.
