There's tons of ways to fix this but SE wont act on any of them. Not even an option to be removed from player search queries which would be awesome.

I think it's abundantly clear by now that Squeenix don't give a whit about anyone but the Japanese players. And since RMT tells aren't a problem on the Japanese servers, they're never gonna implement any kind of permanent solution. We might as well be screaming into the Void.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Brynhildr has been pretty bad lately. I've been getting 3-4 tells in a row almost every few minutes (may be exaggerating, but it's still pretty bad.)
In all my time playing, RMT has never been this bad before.
Born to lose, Live to win.

I usually have no issue with the seller. However, last night was the ultimate.
Remember back in the day when you were in a town, and a gil seller would spam the chat with endless /shout with their advertisements, as if it was just auto-scrolling the information? Well, my /tells was filled with that exact thing. I'm like, "wtf..."!
Didn't even realize a bunch of real players was asking me to help them, but I missed the messages. I blocked my first gil seller, but then, about 3 seconds later, another had my /tell chat log scrolling. I blocked about 9 of them back to back. But the 10th, I logged off and played DC Universe.

Well despite people saying there is no way to get away from RMT spamming you all day long, there actually is. If you join a JP server you will have next to none I hear from JP server players. Why is that?
I can only suspect that they just aren't buying from them or something and therefore the RMT aren't wasting their time over there. I wish people did that on my regions server... I'm so sick of the RMT tells...
I don't think joining a server that's several thousand miles away from me would be my solution to avoid RMT spam unless I didn't mind high ping.Well despite people saying there is no way to get away from RMT spamming you all day long, there actually is. actually, Cerberus got almost RMT free since Heavensward. It's really rare that you get tells, even in the old areas. So as for that, seems that Steps of Faith are still a great RMT filter.
Same for me. I'm pretty much online (though afkin quite a bit) all through the day and I've gotten at max 10 tells since 3.0. There was one time somewhere in 3.1 when I got about 4 tells during one day but then silence.
Well on Phoenix before Christmas i used to get a lot of whispers but since 2016 i recieved none!
The good thing in this game is that you are not taking mails from people that are not in my friend list.On other games my mail box was full on those spams![]()
