And the gil spammers still exist... wth. is there any way i can combat these guys? My chat box is getting blown up by tells it's really annoying and i can't hardly tell who is talking to me at times.

Does SE just not care?

Here's three easy steps to completely bypass the problem.
1. Disable tell sound effects
2. Create a new chat tab titled: tells
3. Isolate tells to that chat tab and look for the green text regularly incase you get any relevant tells

It's not weird at all, it's different on each server. On Mateus when I had tells on, I'd get one every 5-10 seconds.

Hyperion is a nightmare. I have to set my status to 'Busy' if I want any peace. Luckily I'm in an FC with all the friends I talk to on a regular basis and have a LS for everyone else.

I really wish SE would do something about this nonsense.

Yeah they've been really bad lately. Though it's nice to know that at least with Hyperion they'll eventually be locked out again. We do get eras of peace, then eras of rmt. We're on the 87th umbral era of RMT right now though.
