I don't really agree with this thread but it's about if you want to play this game so whatever.

Wynn - read ONE more time .... idiot
All leves got the ranges 10,20,30,40
Truthbasically when you speak to an NPC you will be offered by choosing 10,20,40 levequests.
Yupwhen choosing said 20 you will be only offered leve,s 20,25,(maybe 30?)
I'm assuming he means that when you go past a certain level range like say lvl 30 DoH, you would get only lvl 30+ leves and 1 - 30 leves wouldn't show up. That I would agree with.i would see it if we have the leve range same as our lvl makes progressing our crafts/gathering much faster
so, what is a 35+ alchemist leve doing in my journal? :/
You don't understand so I'm going to attempt to explain it to you.
Go speak to the local leve npc. Notice the options. You have level 10, 20, and 40. All crafting leves from 20 through 35 are offered in the 20 section. Because the system is this way for crafting leves, when you have a leve that randomly can be a level 20 or 30 leve a good deal of the time a level 30 crafter will end up with leves 10 levels below them to do and nothing more. This has been a problem since beta. Rather than adding more crafting leves they clumped them all together to give the illusion of more leves than there actually are for crafters.
That is what he was describing. And he's right, about that at least.
No thanks, it's really great to be able to see the progression and control what you are gathering (I like having mini games for that too!). As for the randomness of what you get, each items have their "sweet spot" to increase your chances of getting it. Also, not all points contains all items. There are already resources on the internet that tells you which has what or you can simply discover it yourself. It's pretty simple when you spent the time to really try it.
In another post, a community rep mentioned the devs are already planning to remedy to this situation.-add more leve range each lvl of Discipline. basically when you speak to an NPC you will be offered by choosing 10,20,40 levequests. when choosing said 20 you will be only offered leve,s 20,25,(maybe 30?).i would see it if we have the leve range same as our lvl makes progressing our crafts/gathering much faster
Do you mean having to hand the crafted items from leves to NPCs inside the cities rather than the camps? I agree this would be faster and since DoH is no longer able to let you experience the whole story of the game (since you need DoW or DoM now), the purpose of having to deliver in camps is reduced. If I remember right, it was partly to make the crafters go out of town once in a while.
If you meant having all the guild NPCs in each cities, I am against it. It helps spread the server population over the three cities and makes each city more unique.
Also, you can always rent a chocobo to deliver your leves items and use the return option to come back to town.
Yoshi-P already said it's a problem that should never have existed to begin with. It will be corrected, at least, by 2.0.
No thanks, it's a nice gil sink in the economy and is really not that expensive. Doing 1 leve actually gives you enough to travel.
They are constantly moving the monsters around to try to prevent such issues. Don't you have another route to that levequest? Are you sure they are aggressive? If yes, maybe you could also post more infos about that particular leve that has its path blocked (map name, coordinates, monsters in the way, leve name, etc.)?
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Although I could somewhat agree with most of your points, the one regarding chocobo and airship is really bad, they were added not only to easy travel but as a much needed gil sink.
There is no way they are being removed, I do remember Yoshi saying he may consider reducing the price depending on player feedback though, so you would be much better off going down that route than asking for it to be removed completely.
I'd be interested in making the battlecrafts leve's available at the camps of said level. Say I go to camp horizon and talk to the crystal, or an npc. I choose the set of leve's I wanna do there turn around, start em up at the crystal. That would ease up on the time it takes to do things. Instead of having to go back all the way to town to pick more leve's then ride out agaaaaain to the camp you want to do leves at.
