I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
I think you should save it for when they come out with the next 1mil mgp mount, which would most likely fly. I would also suggest only buying fenrir if it's confirmed it'll fly, if not you'll rarely use it tbh.
got mine a few weeks back and i love it. it also feels great having something actually rare
we still dont know if and when it will be able to fly though. they wanted to look into it but no word since... i really hope they are gonna make it happen!
No matter what you get, congratulate yourself for saving up 1 million MGP. It's a long road.
I would get it, I see quite a few fenrir mount popping up all over the place, I still use it a lot for when I need to do old 2.0 hunts or old beast tribe quest for materia rewards, or old gathering mats. IMO it doesn't need to fly and if SE is looking to make it fly I hope it doesn't end up like the turtle.
Fenrir; unfortunately, is confirmed as a flying mount for 3.3. There was a Dev confirmation a month and a half or so ago.
I think making the oleer mounts fly, to some degree makes sense since going forward SE has stated they will havevmore flyiñg areas. There is no real point to ground moùnts anymore unle§s they add flying to them.

I dont think fenrir being able to fly is unfortunate, but based on what everyone said I think I'll wait until 3.3 to get him that way I know I can use him to fly. I gust hope the flying is awesome. Now if I can just get that parade chocobo, XD.

I think people are just under the impression that ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING being able to fly is feeling a little overkill. I mean, a few exceptions here and there are fine but some people such as myself would like to see mounts like that to be simply appreciated as they already are. Same with Sleipnir. I bought him for my Au Ra since I found it to be the only fitting mount for him but I'm glad he's just a ground mount. It'd be silly if he flew. I have other mounts that do fly when I need it.
In any case, congratulations ^^
If I remember correctly the mythological Sleipnir actually could fly, in which case a flyable Sleipnir wouldn't be all that silly. As well in IX Odin indeed rode through the air on Sleipnir.I think people are just under the impression that ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING being able to fly is feeling a little overkill. On flying Fenrir: Does seem a bit much, but also makes some sense since Adamantoise is also now flyable. Not sure where that stands in myth though (atleast some turtles have flying capabilities in certain myths.) Regardless I'd say go for it anyways unless there are certain glamours you really want as well that you don't have.
